Fish Report for 11-19-2016
Cisco's SATURDAY REPORT
11-19-2016
Channel Islands Sportfishing
Saturday ended up being one of the best fishing and weather days of the entire week. Virtually no wind and bright sunny skies with fish biting better than the previous few days. Besides a few Calico’s caught on a private charter, it was all bottom fishing today. A great assortment of fish were caught and the quality was outstanding. Lingcod and a variety of Rockfish are always good time of year, but the Whitefish are going off! Because of this, our anglers are taking home more fish than they were prepared for. Needing a second cooler and extra ice for the ride home is a good thing!
For Sunday the weather looks like it will hold and allow us to complete the weekend. They are calling for a good chance of thunderstorms Sunday night, but by the time it hits we should be back at the dock. The loads for fishing Sunday also look very lite. Give us a call or book online anytime!
Today’s Fish Count: 11 boats and 220 anglers.
1,560 Assorted Rockfish, 446 Ocean Whitefish, 279 Lingcod, 21 Sheephead, 9 Sole, 33 Bonito, 8 Perch, and 30 Calico Bass.
