Captain Steve Gawitt aboard the Aztec has called in with 14 bluefin tuna in the 90-100lb range with 17 fish hanging. Yes he has a night bite!
Tackle recommendations for the one and one day trips are- 2 speed reels with 50-80lb fluorocarbon, 3/0-6/0 circle hooks and a 160 gram flat fall glow in the dark. We do have two speed reels for rent at the office and a full service tackle shop for all your terminal tackle needs.
Don't forget about double half days every day of the week and three quarter day trips to the Coronado islands on the weekends(a valid passport is a required for each person to board).
