The McCloud Trout bite doesn't get much hotter! I fished my son Conner and his good buddy Leif this past Sunday and the boys ripped lips all day. We hit the water at 10:30 and had action until we left at 4:30. It really does not matter what method of fishing you choose the fish will bite. The boys and I, trolled Sep's dodgers with super duper trailers,  casted flies and lures to rising fish all over the reservoir. We caught Browns and Rainbows in the 10 to 17 inch range. Double hook ups we common all day. Mother nature also continued to bless us this weekend with some of the best November weather we could ask for. As long as the road to the reservoir remains open McCloud will be fishable. Heavy snow could  cause access issues so it is good to check before making the trip.
