Shasta Lake fishing slow
11-11-2016
Scott Caldwell
This past Friday I took family to Shasta Lake for a day on the water and to do some fish recon. Shasta Lake is on the low side water wise but not bad at all. Surface temperature on the water in the dry Creek arm was around 61 degrees not bad but looked like the entire lake was changing over. Fish were rising along the shoreline but not really biting. Conner managed to land a nice Rainbow Trout heading from the dam into dry Creek arm but that was it for solid action on the day. The bite should pic up around the Lake as it settles into it's winter phase .
