Without skipping a beat Captain Brian Sims passed the baton following the successful Seeker 12 day run and away we sailed with yours truly in command. Fired up and ready to rock on the annual Ventura County Anglers 10 day voyage we set forth in rapidly improving sea conditions pleased with the forecast of finer weather to come. Our game plan will incorporate a visit to the famed outside quality tuna grounds before continuing down the line to target wahoo and tropical varieties.
On an admin note stay tuned for a date announcement tomorrow as we add one final Black Water sponsored seven day voyage to our 2016 schedule. Fantatic sign of 80 -130 pound yellowfin tuna continues to produce at the magical outside destination of Isla Guadalupe. With this foremost in mind, and the prior two years of epic late season action on big yellowfin at Isla Guadalupe lasting well into January, we plan to add one last seven day run to provide a fortunate few more anglers the opportunity to access the bounty on Royal Star.
If you are interested in this soon to be announced late season seven day run give Tracy and/or Brian a call in the office to add your name to the list. Otherwise we will keep everyone posted as this voyage unfolds. Everything for a succesful run is in order here; the fish simply have to hold up their end.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
