Fish Report for 10-15-2016
Saturday report by Cisco's
10-15-2016
Channel Islands Sportfishing
A mixed bag and cool temperatures for everyone fishing on this day at Cisco’s. One of our boats got on the Yellowtail late to save they’re day. Others focused only on bottom fishing for a variety of Rockfish, Whitefish and Sheephead. The local Whitefish bite has been nothing short of outstanding. But we know everyone is looking for game fish in October. Not time to panic yet but time is short. If you’re looking for a late season Yellowtail, it’s time to go fishing. No telling how long they will hang around.
We still have openings for fishing tomorrow (Sunday) as well as trips departing every day this upcoming week. Give us a call or book online anytime!
Today’s Fish Count: 10 boats and 215 anglers.
1,721 Rockfish, 124 Lingcod, 290 Ocean Whitefish, 13 Sheephead, 1 Cabezon, 5 Calico Bass, 1 Kelp Greenling, 4 Bonito, and 27 Yellowtail.
