Hello everyone; We arrived to our destination at 02:00 hours. We dropped the anchor and made a tank of bait. We would land one Yellowtail before sunrise.
At day break we pulled our anchor and moved the boat, and wouldn’t move again until first call for dinner. We had a steady pick of 60 to 90 pound Yellowfin all day long.
We did have a dozen or so over the 100 pound mark, with a couple of stand outs.
It was a very good day of tuna fishing, not wild and crazy, but steady one or two going. We would end our day with 72 Yellowfin tuna and 8 Yellowtail for our efforts.
We will try to make another tank of bait tonight, and give this another try tomorrow. Until then, good luck and good fishing.
