We had a fun day of fishing around Cedros Island for Yellows and a couple of nice Seabass yesterday. It was a great way to enjoy more fishing time while staying out of the windy weather. Everyone was able to catch a few Yellows, relax in the lee, have fun with light tackle gear and take in the scenery. Our San Bernardino Sheriffs group had a blast this trip, caught lots of fish, saw 2 big foamers of Yellowfin Tuna crashing on bait balls with whales lunge feeding through them, one at night even! Witnessed some spectacular sunsets with the storm that was out west and just enjoyed being with each other and this crew which we have all become close friends over all the years together. Pics tonight are of a nice Yellow caught yesterday , Jim and Marlow with a double hook-up on the Fly-rods, and Captain Jesus Companioni being his usual cheerful, fun self.
