The Fly Shop
What an incredible summer of fishing we have had on this prolific fishery! The river is steady at 9,000 cfs, with a 500 cfs decrease scheduled for next Tuesday. We are seeing consistently good fishing throughout the day. Caddis are the dominant food source now with some small beatis coming off later in the afternoons. You should have some Cinnamon Poopahs and Bird's Nests on if you're nymphing. Throw on your favorite mayfly nymph such as an S&apm;M, Pheasant Tail, Micro May or Flatulator and you will see your rod get bent. Swing Poopahs or soft hackles or Swing Caddis in the evenings for excitement. This place is a giant rainbow factory!
