The 34th Annual Marina Del Rey Halibut Derby will be the most exciting halibut derby in history.?? This year's derby is pulling out all the stops.?? One skilled or lucky angler could walk away with 3 gigantic prizes as well as a load of cash.

The MDR Halibut Derby will also be conducting a special "high bid" auction for a 5 day fishing trip aboard the super deluxe Intrepid Sportfishing boat with the proceeds going to the Non Profit MDRA Youth Fishing Program.?? The auction will begin at Noon on Monday, March 10 and conclude at Noon on Friday, March 14.?? ??MDRA Director Larry Brown will be accepting bids by email, lmbrownxx@earthlink.net, or telephone at 310/578-2288.?? Be the lucky angler and win a 5 day fishing trip valued at $2,035 on the beautiful Intrepid.?? Your price includes all Mexican Permits, Fuel Charges and non-alcoholic beverages.?? Be sure to attend the MDR Halibut Derby Fishing Seminar conducted by halibut legend Captain David Bacon starting at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12 in the recreation center at Burton Chace Park in Marina del Rey.????
