Cisco's Report for Saturday 9/17

9-17-2016
Channel Islands Sportfishing

Great weather for our Saturday anglers! The sky is overcast but there is almost no wind and the swell is down to nothing making the ocean flat. Fishing today was also good with some boats going for Yellows and others deciding to load up on Rockfish and other bottom species. Pretty much everyone caught something today or at least hooked a big one and lost it. Yes, a lot of Yellowtail lost but the ones we landed were nice. The fish are still in the 30+ pound class but pulling like they are 50 pounders. Something has these fish really fired up so if you’re coming out soon bring you’re “A Game”. We have spots open still for Sunday and through the rest of the week. Reserve and get here early, ready for a good time and potentially a lot of fish! Today’s Fish Count: 7 boats and 164 anglers. 54 Yellowtail, 1 Mako Shark, 1 Calico Bass, 209 Whitefish, 22 Lingcod and 418 Assorted Rockfish.
