We departed yesterday on our annual Catchy Tackle 5-day. We awoke this morning to calm seas and at 0530, located a nice school of tuna. We started hooking fish at first light. Most of our fish came on 40 pound test line, the guys that dropped down to 30 pound test really had a tough time landing these fish as they were all 60 to 80 pounds. What an incredible day. We drifted for 12 and a half hours with at least one fish hooked the entire time. It was all 60 to 80 pound yellowfin tuna with a few bluefin tuna mixed in. The guys that were fishing 40# fluorocarbon, a #2 live bait hook, and a shoulder hooked sardine did the best today. Very good fishing. We are staying the night on the grounds to try again tomorrow. Wish us luck. The Intrepid Team
