Trout Fishing

I did not see any trout come in this week. All
Cat Fishing

The catfish were biting in Scow Canyon this week with wax worms. You can also find them at the pines and the main rec.

Crappie

Crappie are biting down at the boat launch. And in Scow Canyon

Surface Temp: 75
Fish Plant: We planted 800lbs of Catfish on 8-10-16 at the Main Rec.

Fish Tales

Ismael of San Lorenzo caught 2 catfish stringer weighing 8 lbs largest weighing 6.06 using shrimp across from the entrance on 8-9-16.

Ferrero of Pleasant Hill caught a bass weighing 3.9lbs no location or bait given on 8-11-16.

Jimmie and Family of Hayward caught 3 Catfish using shrimp in Scow Canyon on 8-12-16.

Hyp of Oakland caught 1 catfish weighing 20lbs using a night crawler at the boat Launch on 8-13-16.

Park Information

The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is now open for the season with the hours during August being 6:00 am to 7:30 pm and boats needing to be off the water by 6:30 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks, drinks and tackle available.
