Well were definitely living the dream. The yellowfin showed at day light and we cut stock 50-60 pounders off while trying for yellowtail and larger tuna.

The majority of the tuna were caught on fly lined scad however we did get a few on the yoyo jigs and the dropper loops. We ended up releasing most of the tuna but we did manage to put a few tags on some that weighed 70-140 pounds.

Late in the afternoon we finally got some flow and had a good hit on 30-40 pound yellowtail with a few larger models mixed in.

Our weather remains beautiful and we plan on spending tomorrow fishing for yellowtail and larger yellowfin tuna. The cut off for tomorrow is 100 pounds so anything under 100 will be released.
