Hey folks
We left today on a Rice Bowl sponsored 3 day trip with charter master Fred Morioka. After leaving the bait receiver we headed offshore to see if we could relocate the school size bft we saw a couple weeks ago. We didn’t see any sign of bluefin but saw lots of small yellowfin jumpers that didn’t want to bite. There has certainly been a lot of non biting fish this year but with the water almost to the mid 70′s hopefully it bites soon. We are going to head down the beach and try for some yellowtail. Wish us luck and biting fish.

We headed down the island and tried and anchor job for yellowtail. We were not quite ready for what we saw. 50+# yellows started boiling around in which we hooked several and landed two whoppers. One at 51 and one...... Read More

Hey folks We missed on the yellowtail last night but come daylight we moved the boat and re-anchored on an area of scattered tuna and started hooking fish right away. We had flurrys throughout the day and usually always had one hooked. The grade is amazing with most fish around 100# with the big ones going at between 140-150. The tax man took probably more than his fair share today but we still ended up with a beautiful day. At least...... Read More
