Hello anglers, Today we departed on our annual Merritt 7 Day Trip. We picked up a good looking load of bait and cleared the point around 1300. We are headed south. Not quite sure on our destination but will keep you posted. Wish us luck

Excel Family Trip Update
8-2-2016
The Excel checked in as they are on Day 2 of their second 3 day Family Trip with alot of youngsters on the trip, yesterday we were patty hopping and found some Dorado and nice grade Yellowtail and ended with 80 mixed fish. We are at it again today looking for some Yellowfin Tuna and put together a final day, the trick is finding the right kelp. We will check in again tomorrow....... Read More

Wrapping it up

Hello anglers, Today we fished offshore and everything seemed to fall into place. The weather was good and the fish wanted to bite. We hit many kelps and they all seemed to be holding something. If it wasn't a big yellowtail it was a Dorado! Just a good day of fishing. We will be back to Fishermans Landing tomorrow at 0600. See you there ...... Read More
