Channel Islands Sportfishing

Another wonderful weekend of fishing the Channel Islands has come an end. Yellowtail remains to be the desired catch on our boats with White Seabass a close second. Bottom fish like Rockfish and Lingcod are still being caught in good numbers like you see in today’s count. Conditions are still good as the weather is stable and the ocean temperatures continue to rise. We have been working hard to keep our boat receivers full for our boats and to the general public. If things continue to trend upwards as they have been we will be in store for another great week of fishing this wonderful area we are so blessed to have in our back yard. Let’s go fishing!

Today’s Fish Count: 10 boats and 297 anglers. 1,295 Assorted Rockfish, 46 Lingcod, 106 Ocean Whitefish, 8 Sculpin, 100 Perch, 21 Sheephead, 1 Cabezon, 9 Barracuda, 87 Calico Bass, 24 Bonito and 94 Yellowtail.
