We spent our last day of travel getting the finishing touches done to our tuna gear and rigging wahoo tackle for the fishing day's ahead, our weather continues to be expellant. 1-21-2008Today is our second full day of traveling and our weather continues to be flat calm with a slight breeze out of the west, our air temperature is just beginning to warm up 75 miles southwest of Alijos rocks. We departed Saturday January 19, 2008 on the 15 Day Mustad Hooks and Bluewater Tackle/ San Diego Fly Shops sponsored trip. Our bait looks very good and we are traveling down the coast in extremely good weather. This is a very good group of anglers and we are all hoping for good timing and continued good weather for the next two weeks, time will tell. We had our safety talk once we departed San Diego and our first seminar covering jackpot...... Read More
