Hey folks
We traveled up all night and half the day till we got up to the islands. The weather is absolutely beautiful up here with sunny sky’s and the air temp in the high 70′s. We switched everyone over to lighter reverse dropper loops and bass gear. We had a blast catching halibut and releasing calico. Our halibut were all nice ones from 12-41#. Victor Manzo had the big flatty which he caught on a small sardine. Before dinner we anchored up and caught three wsb, some more calico bass and released some yellowtail. After dinner we pulled the anchor and headed up. We are going to look offshore on our way up and possibly make some rockfish drifts around San Martin before heading up to the bft grounds. Wish us luck and a calm ocean.
