Hi friends. Starting off the week with some minor clean-up work and some containment as we prepped for the Strontium coat to be sprayed on all the exposed aluminum. It was a pretty easy day and tomorrow will most likely be the same. When we arrive, we'll lightly sand the Strontium and prepare for the primer coat to be sprayed. A couple of short days, followed by a long da...y of sanding the primer and then the gloss coat will be sprayed. It's a big week for the Supreme and she'll come out lookin' shiny and pretty.
Enclosed are a couple of photos of some of the work we did today. The mustard looking paint that the painter is applying is the Strontium coat. Also, you can see how odd the boat looks from the street. Kind of an unpleasant sight. Enjoy your day and we'll chat with you tomorrow.

4-20-2012Friday, April 20th, 2012 Hi friends. Finally completed the major part of the sanding today as the entire outer portions of the boat are sanded and the inside spots are ready to go as well. We've got some containment and cleaning to deal with on Monday and Tuesday, the Strontium will be sprayed on the bare aluminum. Wednesday will be a day of sanding the strontium and then the primer coat will be applied on Thursday. That's the plan for now...... Read More

The five of us have worked from 0700 hours until 1600 hours for the past two days and the weekend forecast calls for more of the same. No rest for the wicked, I guess.
