6-5-2016
Seaforth Staff
The San Diego finished their three quarter day trip with 5 Bluefin tuna today. Three of the bluefin were between 60-75lbs and the other two weighed in at 120lbs and 130lbs. They are seeing lots of fish each day, and will be heading back offshore each day through THURSDAY 6/9, these trips are limited to 45 people, and RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! These aren't your average sized bluefin, so make sure you are geared up properly. We suggest having at least one setup with a MINIMUM of 50# test and 5/0 hooks. Poppers are also working well.
The Pacific Voyager has called in with an update on the second day of their three day trip. So far they have 5 Bluefin tuna, (30-40lbs) 1 Yellowfin tuna and 170 Yellowtail (18-25lbs) on the boat with one day left to fish.
Half day trips aboard the New Seaforth go daily at 6am and 12:30pm.
