Fish Report for 5-29-2016
Great yellowtail fishing and offshore bluefin tuna
5-29-2016
Mark Larson
The San Diego has called in a final count of 121 yellowtail in the 15-20lb range on his three quarter day trip. The fish are eating the yoyo iron the best (custom Seaforth full size yoyo) but a few were also caught on the surface iron and dropper loop bait, so come prepared to fish any one or all of these styles. The San Diego departs daily at 5:30am and requires a valid passport to board.
The Pacific Voyager on a two and a half day trip has reported in a final count of 32 bluefin tuna(20-30lbs) and 90 yellowtail.
The New Seaforth has had excellent bottom fishing on its half day trips. The New Seaforth departs twice daily at 6am and again at 12:30pm. Twilight trips depart Thursday thru Sunday nights at 6pm.
We have lots of trips for this weekend so don't be left at the family picnic or even better, bring the family out fishing.
