Fish Report for 5-27-2016
Cisco's start to Memorial Day weekend!
5-27-2016
Channel Islands Sportfishing
Fishing continues to pick up around the Channel Islands. Squid is becoming easier to find and catch for bait. The White Seabass and Yellowtail are starting to bite with regularity. Bottom fishing is still excellent at the usual spots. Overall, the season is progressing as it should this time of year. Late May and in to the month of June we can only expect things to surge forward in to full blown madness as the Seabass are ripe for the taking.
The weather for this holiday weekend looks outstanding and we surprisingly still have openings for trips fishing Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Give us a call or book online before it’s too late! Today’s Fish Count: 9 boats and 168 anglers
969 Assorted Rockfish, 95 Lingcod, 3 Ocean Whitefish, 1 Sheephead, 3 Sculpin, 1 Thresher Shark, 3 Barracuda, 11 Calico Bass, 2 Halibut, 4 White Seabass and 15 Yellowtail.
