Diamond Valley Lake Staff
BASS
The bass bite is still on! The dams and the islands are the best spots to bass fish. Crank baits, senkos and dropshotting plastics are working best. The bass are within 15-20 feet.
STRIPER
There were few reports of striper being caught this week. Swimbaits and trolling with flies are recommended for catching striper.
CATFISH
Anglers are catching catifsh on shrimp, chicken liver and stink bait. The best spot to fish for catfish is
near the dams. PANFISH
The panfish bite is still on! Mealworms, night crawlers and jigs are recommended for catching panfish.
TROUT
There were no reports of catfish caught this week. Miini jigs, powerbait, and nightcrawlers are recommended for trout fishing.
