Cisco's WEEK's END Report & Daily Count
5-15-2016
Channel Islands Sportfishing
Another weekend has come and gone here at Cisco’s. We now find ourselves already half way through the month of May. Bottom fishing dominates the fish counts as it should this time of year. Seeing a Yellowtail or White Seabass in the count is also par for the course in mid-May. We are still getting our usual windy spring days so if everything holds we should have good Seabass counts in our near future. Next thing to look for is our “June Gloom” or daily overcast skies. Always a sign that the spring bite is about to happen!
Today’s Fish Count: 6 boats and 140 anglers
1,036 Assorted Rockfish, 2 Sculpin, 12 Lingcod, 5 Sheephead, 1 Perch, 12 Ocean Whitefish, 7 Calico Bass and 1 Yellowtail.
