Trout Fishing
“HAPPY MOTHERS DAY” to all the Momma Anglers out there This week it looks like a Catfish was the main attraction again I only have 1 catfish and 1 trout to report but they are big. “HOT TIP” Crappie continue to bite at the main rec. our maintenance emptied the fish table this morning and said it was full of crappie heads If you catch some fish please bring them in to the Main Rec. for a picture it is the only way we can report what is being caught.
Lake Conditions
Lake Level: 304.7
Surface Temp : 64
Fish Plant: We did not plant any fish this week next plant will be tomorrow 5-9-16 1400 lbs of Mt Lassen at the Main Rec.
Fish Tales
Indra Gurong of Oakland caught a 10 lb trout no location or bait given on 5-3-16
Walter one of our regulars caught a 20lb catfish at the boat launch on Thursday 5-6-16. I am happy to report that the fish was released back into the lake.
Park Information
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is now open for the season with the hours during May being 6:00 am to 7:30 pm and boats needing to be off the water by 6:00 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks, drinks and tackle available. The Café is open the hours are 9:00 to 3:00 closed on Mondays.
