Lake Amador Fishing Report
4-29-2016
RB Bass
Ron Howe and Michael Coleman made a late morning trip to Lake Amador.
We met at the ramp pulled the Rods out of the Rod Gloves and we were go to go! 45 minutes south east of Sacramento Amador is never far away. This lake always has the potential for a Big bite. The entry cost is a little high, but you can fish on $5 bucks of Gas since the lake is small in size. The lake is full and slightly stained due to recent heavy downpours the Spawn is done here so your fishing for Post Spawn Bass. We had a good quick start at about 9am with quick bites on chatter baits and Spinner baits. Michael Coleman pulled his River2Sea Bling Spinner bait out and started burning the bait past ambush areas with shade, Ron was throwing the D&M Chatterbait in the Talapia color. Fishing was tough overall , but we had fun and got a few bites on Drop Shots using River2Sea Tungsten Dropshot weights and a 6″ Roboworm, We also had a few bites on Jigs too. Once the water clears up some and the weather gets stable this place could catch FIRE!
