Hey folks
We left on Thursday afternoon for another fishing adventure with Rice Bowl Charters. This time around we have Howard Hada as our fearless chartermaster. After loading up on our best load of sardine this season we headed offshore. The weather was choppy our first night out but come daylight it kept getting better and better. We jigged up a yellowfin tuna of about 49# first thing in the morning. Around 2 in the afternoon we started seeing consistent sign of 60-100# bluefin. We were able to coax some boils out of them but no biters. We decided to head into the beach for our next days fishing and try our hand at some yellowtail.
About midnight we anchored up for an epic nights sleep and at daylight picked it up and started looking around. About 0700 the fish started to float and we are currently scratching steady in nice grade yellows. Wish us luck the rest of today we’ll check back in tonight.
