Hello everyone, well today was a better day than yesterday. The taxman backed off (Sharks), and the good grade Yellowfin did some biting, along with a few Wahoo.
Our weather continues to be good, with overcast skies to keep it cool, and a slight breeze to keep the kites flying. Today was different from the past few days, as we did get a Yellowfin on the boat until 09:00 hours, and we didn’t get a fish over 200 pounds today, but most of the fish we did get (Yellowfin tuna), were in the 140 to 180 range.
We did have a few anglers get personal best today, and get the RPPB (Royal Polaris Personal Best) shower. Some of the anglers with personal best today, Ed Wenke with a 180 pound Yellowfin tuna, and this is Ed first long range trip.
Al Yee with a 170 pound Yellowfin tuna, and Al did get two Yellowfin the in the 150 to 170 range.
Today the Wahoo made a showing on a log that was floating by the boat, and we did get a few Wahoo off that log. We did have a late bite, that went into the early evening, with a handful of 140 to 180 pound fish.
So things are looking up at the Zone, and we will give this another try tomorrow, so until fingers and key board meet again, good luck and good fishing.
