Trout Fishing

This week it looks like Scow Canyon, The Main Rec , Oak Point , and the Pines are where people are catching fish. Power Bait is the bait colors such as chartreuse, Spring Green, Garlic, Lime Twist are your best best. “HOT TIP” Crappie have started to bite at the Main Rec.

Fish Tales

Sammy, Jojo and Connor of Concord caught 13 trout using power-bait on 4/17/16.
Andy Humprey and Steve Mason caught 7 trout using power-bait fishing in Scow Canyon on 4/24/16.
Celeste Truany of Pittsburg caught 1 trout fishing at the San Dune (Don’t know where that is) using power-bait on 4/17/16.
David Bonilla of Oakland caught 1 trout weighing 1.5 lbs using green power-bait on 4/17/16.
Steve Izo of Danville caught 3 trout the largest weighing 5lbs using mice tails at the Pines on 4/18/16.
Brian Yee of Alameda caught 5 trout using rainbow power-bait at Oak Point on 4/21/16.
Trent no last name given caught 2 trout fishing in scow canyon on 4/24/16.
