Fish Report for 4-24-2016
Cisco's report for Sunday - Another Windy One!
4-24-2016
Channel Islands Sportfishing
Windy conditions again made things more difficult but we got out and caught some nice fish! As many of you saw earlier on Facebook the Cobra caught a couple White Seabass and a Halibut. The others that ventured out made the best of things and caught some Rockfish and other assorted bottom fish. Today it was hard to find calm waters but behind the island most of the boats fished. Looking and poor weather again for early in the week and we have already taken our fishing boats offline for Monday. This is spring fishing and is actually a good thing to get this windy weather out of the way. This is the time of year we are supposed to get these conditions so as far as we are concerned this is par for the course. Things will stabilize and we will be back out as soon as possible.
Today’s Fish Count: 6 boats and 138 anglers
745 Rockfish, 169 Ocean Whitefish, 18 Sculpin, 11 Lingcod, 6 Sheephead, 1 Sole, 1 Halibut and 2 White Seabass.
