Fishing at Castaic is fair right now.The striper fishing has been picking up.Most stripers are being caught on sardines and shad pattern reactin baits.The largemouth bass fishing has been good.The largemouth bass are spawning.Most bass are being caught on senkos and roboworms but fisherman are catching them on reaction baits and site fishing also.The smallmouth bass are biting fair on reaction baits.

Catfish are biting on mackerel,sardines and nightcrawlers in 20 to 75ft.We are expecting a trout plant this week.The water level has been rising the last week.John Petrov from Marina Del Rey caught a 12lb largemouth bass from a rental boat.

Fishing at Castaic is fair right now.The striper fishing has been slow.Most stripers are being caught on swimbaits and shad pattern reaction baits.The largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing has been good. Fishing at Castaic is fair right now.The striper fishing has been slow.Most stripers are being caught on sardines and Iugworms.The largemouth bass fishing has been slow but is going to pick up as we approach spring.Smallmouth bass have been biting fair.Most smallies are being caught in 10 to 40 ft.
