Nestucca River Fishing Report

OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff
Steelhead fishing has slowed as the river clears and flows drop. Fish are available throughout the entire fishery area (Reminder- upstream of Moon Cr., at Blaine is closed). Side drifting, bobber doggin’, or drift fishing have been productive. Bobber and jig is a good method in clearer water. Spring Chinook season opened April 1, but few, if any fish are around yet.
