Hey folks- we got back this morning from a 1.5 day to colonet. Our weather was absolutely beautiful, flat calm with around 5 knots. The action on the yellowtail was beyond excellent. Best results were on fly lined baits and surface iron. We were able to catch limits by noon. We made a couple drifts for cod but they remained of the bite. So with plenty of daylight and such great weather, we opted to go offshore and look at new area of water. Although we did find a school it wasn’t until 15 minutes before dark and we were not able to boat a fish. There was good sign of bird life, shear waters and tern birds, scattered throughout the area(s) we looked. Hopefully next weekend will present the same opportunity.

We have a trip departing Tuesday night fishing for bluefin. Another trip leaving Friday night going back down to colonet. Both trips are 1.5 days and all having spots available. Hope to see you out there soon.
