Hello RP Followers.
We had a fun day in the Buffer Zone, but the sharks definitely caught more tuna than the fisherman. Case in point, we saw a foamier in the distance and ran up to a ball of bait getting smashed by what looked like hundreds of sharks. As we approached, the ball of cocineros found refuge under the boat and we delivered them into the hungry mouths of a large school of Yellowfin tuna. We immediately started hooking fish and the 100+lb tuna were subsequently consumed by the sharks. All in all, we landed 38 tuna and 11 wahoo.
We have three Gary’s on the boat and they all had a good day today. We refer to them as Good Gary, Bad Gary and Classic Gary. Gary Cotter is a very close friend of mine, likely a major contributor to his moniker. Bad Gary had a 10lber today. Gary Edwards (aka Good Gary) is such a treat to be around, loves wine and is constantly smiling and laughing. Good Gary had several nice fish today. (aka Bad Gary).
Garry Roberts (aka Classic Gary) is a true gentleman and wears long sleeve button downs at the rail. Classic Gary caught the biggest of the day at 174.6lbs and another nice fish.
Good Gary sends his love to Linda. Bad Gary gives Marianne a slight nod and waive (hence the nickname). Classic Garry as angler of the day sends his warmest regards to his beautiful wife Karan.
