With the good weather the water has started to clear and the bite is slowly coming back it looks like the pines, rock wall and Sandy point are yielding the fish. Pink , Garlic, Chartreuse power-bait are the colors that are working .

Chan L of Oakland caught 1 trout weighing 6.32 lbs using a Rapala at the Boat Launch on 3-20-16.
Jordan Kim of Alameda caught 3 trout the largest weighing 1.42 lbs using pink power-bait at the rock-wall on 3-20-16.
Steven Yu of San Francisco caught 1 trout weighing 5 lbs using a drop shot at the main rec on 3-20-16.
Joseph Samado of Fremont caught 2 trout stringer weighing 3.52 lbs at Sandy Point using garlic power-bait on 3-21-16.
Nick Castagnolo of Santa Clara caught 1 trout weighing 1.90 using worms at the Rock Wall on 3/22/16.
John James of El Sobrante caught 1 bass and 2 trout using orange power eggs at the main rec on 3-23-16.

Park Information

The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is now open for the season with the hours during April being 6:30 am to 7:00 pm and boats needing to be off the water by 6:00 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks, drinks and tackle available. The Café is open the hours are 9:00 to 3:00 closed on Mondays.
