Ocean Salmon abundance looks good and WE WILL HAVE A KING SALMON SEASON STARTING ON SATURDAY, APRIL 2 !!!!!!!!!!! Despite the drought - and thanks to some valiant efforts from us and our friends involved in Salmon conservation organizations like GGSA and GGFA - prospects for this year look good !! we have succeeded in fighting for increased hatchery production, net pen projects and trucking baby salmon past the low flows, warm river water, and delta pumps through this tough period, and the results are showing. Looking forward to some great days this season and some more fish like these !!!!!!

Jared Davis called in with this report for the Salty Lady, "It was a little better out there today. We got 13 fish for 10 people. It was kind of a mix of fish. There were 24" & 25" fish and there were also 25 lb. fish. It was about a half and half split. We ended up 13 for 10 and the big one was about 28 lbs.
