WE HAVE A NEW LAKE RECORD!
Bill Chiarello from Sacramento was letting his dog out to run around in the back of the lake somewhere in Jackson Creek. He decided to toss out some Power Eggs a fish for a bit and no sooner did he set his rod down, line started ripping off his reel. He set the hook and was in for a fight of a lifetime on 10lb test! For 30 min there was a battle and finally out came this MONSTER 51.3 POUND CARP! The state record is 52lbs so he just missed it but nonetheless this is a definite Lunker of a lifetime and was released back to the lake, Great catch Bill! — at Lake Amador Resort.
