Diamond Valley Marina checked in this afternoon with an update from Diamond Valley Lake (Hemet, CA). DVM said, "This is an exciting catch! Duncan Ashley caught this 5.92 lb rainbow trout near the West dam using a jerk bait. This Houdini fish got past all of its predators while traveling from the North East end of the lake to the South West end!"

BASS The bass bite has been crazy good! They are between 10-25ft and getting ready to spawn. Jigs,senkos and dropshotting plastics are working best. STRIPER The striper bite slowed down this week. Swimbaits are recommended for catching striper. The best time to fish for striper is after a trout stock, and during stormy weather. CATFISH There were no reports of catfish caught this week. Anchovies and stink bait are recmmended for catching catfish. PANFISH Panfish are being caught on mealworms, night crawlers and jigs....... Read More
