Wednesday, March 9. Fished the outgoing with my buddy Sturmer. It was easy to find clean water up river from the mouth of the Mokelumne on the San Joaquin. Water temperature was 59 degrees and it was overccast with the wind quickening to about 7-8 mph when we quit. Sturmer outfished me which is normal with 20 or more stripers and a a few LMb. I caught ten plus fish and the biggest striper at about 4 pounds. Most of the fish we caught were in the 18-19 inch range but were really fat and pulled hard. It was a fun day.
