RB Bass
I got out Saturday for Sonora bass anglers tournament out of Ladds. We knew it was going to be a crazy day with the weather forecasting rain and wind to 25 mph. We stayed around fourteen mile slough most of the day. Water temps were 60-62 and the water was stained. We started out throwing reaction baits and senkos and had a small limit by 7:30. The entire day we culled till we had around 16lbs. At 1:30 it seemed like the bigger fish came out to play on the incoming tide. Over the next hour we were able to cull up to 21.90. Our biggest went 6.11, all of our better fish came on River2sSa S wavers, punching, and a chatter baits in the afternoon. 1st place went to team Rose/Rose with 24.80.
The top three teams all reported catching their better fish on reaction baits cranking, spinner baits, and chatter baits. Hope this helps and good luck out there!

However the storm did manage to blow out on Saturday and post-frontal conditions settled in on Sunday. I knew Sunday morning...... Read More
