TROUT BITE
Multiple anglers reported catching their limit by 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday— even in the rain! Trout moved away from the shoreline but Salmon Egg Powerbait was still the golden ticket to catching trout this weekend! The limits were caught by anglers fishing from boats near the Hermit Cove buoy line. One fisherman said “I was averaging a bite every 8 minutes or so!”
Are you ready for lightning trout? 1000 lbs. will be stocked next week!
FISHING FOR BASS
Cloister Cove and Shadow Cove were prime spots for bass fishing. Oxblood Redflake Roboworm on dropshot was one winning combination.
CATFISH AND PANFISH
A 2 1/4 lbs. pan fish was caught by the Tdock using a nightcrawler. We recommend fishing for bluegill and redear no more than 20 ft. from shore.
CATCHES OF THE WEEK
Cooper and his friend reeled in Catfish this past Sunday! These cats are hungry and will bite on
unusual baits like Powerbait! This nice sized Sierra Bow was reeled in on Friday afternoon near Cactus
Patch. Nice job!
