Far from a rip snorter here, very far, as no more than a few notable fish made their way into the hatch. We do have indications of better potential on the horizon – literally, but not much of what we saw made it's way into the shallows. It's a waiting game, a patience test, and always has been. Truth be told I've been on the better side of fortune for quite some time now so a turn in the crucible is apropos. Of late glory down here has been tough to come by. Paying dues until conditions turn around is the only option.
In good weather with everything possible still in our favor we aren't quite ready to bemoan any misfortune. Though definitely feeling the crunch time is still on our side. Photos today feature the Danish Duo of Nils Foss and Martin Lenzberg with a pair of nice skin, and long time angling master Corbett Wright engaged in what we came for on the bow. The classic image well represents everything we savor about giant yellowfin tuna wrangling. This is how it's done.

3-3-2016A smooth run down and across presently places our starting destination dead in our sights. The vast majority of anglers joined us in beautiful Cabo San Lucas Wednesday after spending a day or two in the land of plenty leisurely awaiting the arrival of Royal Star.
