The water is warming and the big bass are hungry. Greg Springer of Vista caught and released this monstro sized largemouth weighing in at 16.25#s on Friday throwing a swimbait from the South Shore Rock Pile. It's been 15 years since a bass this large has been weighed in at Lake Wohlford. The lake record still stands at 19#s 3oz from 86' but this recent catch may foreshadow the upcoming spring spawn with possibilities of an even bigger fish.
