Our Rainbow trout bite is going well. our water levels are coming up which is usual for this time of year. with our location being so close to rotary park I do get a little more anglers from that area. Davis camp area is also a great spot for fishing both for trout and striper.

In Rotary park area we have our local anglers Cameron (grandpa) Kulger and grand son 4 year old Cameron Kulger using night crawlers from shore. this is nice stringer of fish and a great family event.

We have a couple of local fishing buddies Tristan Belcher (Hawaiian print shirt) and Carter Groover with a nice catch of rainbows. they were using power bait. A reminder to try different colors orange was working then yellow and rainbow were producing the best. when your bait slow or stops try your favorite spinner.

Another father and son adventure is from the shore on Lake Mohave. they were able to catch a day that wasn’t real windy and were getting bites and landed this 6.92 pound striper at 29 inches. Ryan Krup ( the taller of the two) visiting from Tucson area is helping dad show off his fish Richard Krup both were using anchovies.

The wind has been keeping the action down on the lake. I have been getting some word about a few striper being landed along the river in the casino area and lures are your best bet. Not much word from the marsh as of yet but the river in and around the topock area has been producing a few stripers. so for now Ice that catch down and bring it in so we can share the story.
