It ain't over 'till it's over!

What better way to close out the 2007 season than jumping on board the beautiful Aloha Spirit out of Captain Hook's Sportfishing. I knew that Captain Shawn Steward was out chasing 300 pound Super Cows fishing Long Range on the Excel and I was excited to hear that Greg Ewart's son Johnny was going to run the boat!
Johnny earned his Captain's license in August of 2007 and knows the Channel Islands really well. Johnny's usually out working on the Excel and when he's not doing that, you can bet to find him out on the ocean putting in work somewhere! It was impressive to see him put us right on the fish and wasn't afraid to spend some time looking around for nicer grade fish. Keep an eye out for Johnny, this Kid's going places! He's got all of the talent, commitment, and service oriented drive to keep the anglers coming back for more!
The weather laid down nicely for us to enjoy some spectacular conditions. We once again had another epic trip aboard the Aloha Spirit bringing home limits of quality Rockfish and we even released a few nice Lings! Lucky for them we couldn't keep any until April 1st. You can bet we'll be back to settle the score! The Aloha Spirit is running everyday until the season closes. There's still time! Call Captain Hook's Sportfishing to claim your last ticket for 2007! 805-382-6233
