Nor Cal Fish Reports
Fish are biting at Quarry Lakes this week!
On the 31st Bobby Venegas of Fremont caught a beautiful three-pound trout on chartreuse Power Bait from his boat.
On the 3rd Jeff Theroux of Fremont caught four nice looking trout. The largest was caught on Power Bait and weighed three pounds.
On February 4th, Frank Yangihara caught a limit from Fishermen’s Row, and this is not the only time he has caught his limit!
On February 5th, in Kiosk Cove, Patrick and Logan Batacan caught some nice trout and a seven-pound catfish on Power Eggs!
On the 6th Rich Rasmussen of Newark caught a stupendous looking five-pound trout on Fishermen’s Row!
Don’t forget to bring your catch by the kiosk if you too would like to be a famous Angler! We’ll weigh it for you and everything!

Notes:
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU MUST BE 100 FEET AWAY FROM THE FISH TUBE, THE BOAT DOCK, AND THE BEACH AREA while fishing from the shore and from a boat. Also, note that the use of lead fishing tackle is prohibited at Quarry Lakes.
Currently our boat ramp and fishing pier are both open and the water is on the rise.
The park entrance gate hours are 6am to 6pm.
