TROUT BITE
Even with the hot weather, fishermen reported catching trout, bass, and bluegill at all hours of the day!
Salmon Peach and Rainbow Power- bait are the best baits for catching trout and we recommend fishing no more than 20 ft. from the shore.
1000 lbs. of Sierra Bows will be stocked this week.
FISHING FOR BASS
It has been a good week for Bass fishermen! Anglers on the shoreline are catching bass (including a wiper!) from Sentry Point/Cove at the Campground. For boaters, Half Moon Cove is the hot spot!
The first Wiper in two years was caught this week. Two others were spotted near it— how lucky are you?
CATFISH AND PANFISH
Bluegill and Redear greater than 1 lbs. are being caught using night crawlers in Hermit Cove and Half Moon Cove.
CATCHES OF THE WEEK
Whoa, wiper! Robert Daoud is now the lake rec- ord holder for the largest Wiper caught at Lake Jennings. He was fishing in Sentry Cove when he caught this 8 lbs. 2 oz. bass hybrid. Jerk bait did the trick!
Fred Richer fished Hermit Cove this weekend using night crawlers. His largest trout was 4 1/2 lbs. and a redear weighed in at 1 3/8 lbs.
Geoff Pierce was fishing with a Dimiki lure in Half Moon Cove when he caught this 9 lbs. bass!
