Arizona Game & Fish Department

The Jojoba (main) ramp has reopened. The Yellow Cliffs ramp remains closed.

Fish shallow for pre-spawning bass once weather becomes steadily warm (after this weekend). During recent warm weather spats, bass have been biting in 8-20 feet of water on dropshots and Texas rigs during prime winter fishing hours of noon to 3 p.m.

Also, anglers might have success jigging brush hogs.

Crappie fishing should be picking up, although mainly for smaller fish. Remember the live bait most come from the lake itself (excluding minnows or worms) not transported from another body of water!
