Trout Opener a Success
2-9-2016
San Pablo Reservoir Staff
Trout Fishing
The opener this Friday was nothing short of spectacular most of the anglers left with their limit. The best results have been with a sliding sinker rig using mice tails or power-bait. The shoreline has produced trout just as well as the angler’s on the boats.
Bass Fishing
I have seen 1 bass come in off the shoreline no other information was given.
Lake Conditions
Lake Level 297.5
Surface Temp: I don’t have this information.
Fish Plant: 7,500 Mt Lassen trout split between 2/2/16 and 2/3/16.
Fish Tales
Raul Martinez of San Pablo caught his limit while fishing off a boat on 2-6-16. Mo Adalat and Friend of Union City caught 2 limits fishing at Sandy Point using power-bait on 2-7-16
Brian Magaline & Chuck Timmer no home town given caught 2 limits fishing the lake off a boat on 2-7-16
Bill and Vikki Page and Family of Alameda caught eight trout fishing the lake off a boat using night crawlers and power bait.
Park Information
